Empowering Children and Youth

OIB Child and Youth Services strives to provide high quality care in the most complex cases. Our founders have over 43 years of combined experience in helping children overcome their challenges and develop their strengths. We provide a nurturing family environment which promotes growth and positive personal development.

OIB serves southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

We are funded by British Columbia Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and licensed by Island Health.

Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children aged 6 to 12 can grow emotionally, socially and intellectually.  We are committed to fostering a sense of belonging, trust, and respect, while empowering each child to reach their full potential.  Through compassion, integrity, and dedicated care, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of the children and their families, building a foundation for a brighter future.

Territory acknowledgement

OIB Child and Youth Services acknowledges the traditional territories of the Coast Salish: T’Sou-ke Nation and Sc’ianew Nation and Nuu-chah-nulth: Pacheedaht Nation. We also recognize the traditional territory of the Esquimalt Nation and Songhees Nation.
